Hose Handling Systems

Sterling has provided reel systems for lay-flat hose since 2012. These systems have significantly evolved to accommodate the wide range of hose sizes and customers’ needs. Water transfer in the oil and gas industry has been a driving force behind recent innovations.

We have several options available for handling lay-flat hose and would be glad to help you with your handling needs. There is not one size that fits all, so we offer several options and are constantly developing new solutions for customers.

Sterling Hose Handling Equipment

We offer two trailer versions or reel trailers for handling lay flat hose.the SH 10000 and the SH 12000 models.  Both models can handle all sizes of hose including standard hoses up to 16” and even the larger 24” hoses.  The reel trailers have been used across the country with great success.

SH10000

SH10000 was developed for hose reels weighing up to 10,000 pounds. These reels can handle 3-8” hoses, 3-10” hoses, 2-12” hoses, 2-14” hoses or 2-16” hoses.

SH12000

SH12000 was developed for hose reels weighing up to 12,000 pounds. These reels can handle 4-8” hoses, 4-10” hoses, 3-12” hoses, 3-14” hoses or 3-16” hoses.

Both the SH 10000 and SH 12000 models can be adapted from trailer to skid and mounted on various types of equipment.

Midland Carriers Hose Handling Equipment

Midland Carriers offers one of the best and most popular layflat hose handling systems on the market. Sterling purchased some of the first deployment systems and reels when they were introduced to the market in 2013. Since that time Sterling has sold these systems to customers across the country with great success.

The Midland Carriers systems have models that will handle hoses from 4” to 16”.
